Video walkthrough
Monthly usage limits help admins manage how many hours are used across calls, role play, and coaching in Shilo. These settings are useful when you want to keep usage within your plan tier or prevent one activity from using more hours than expected.
Where to find usage limits
Open Shilo.
Go to Settings.
Select Integrations.
Open Preferences.
Scroll to the usage limit settings.
Select Edit to open the sliders.
Account-wide monthly limits
The top section controls total usage across the whole account.
Monthly call limit: sets the total number of analyzed call hours all users can use during the month. If this limit is reached, live analyzed calls stop using additional hours for that month.
Monthly role play limit: sets the total number of role play hours all users can use during the month.
Monthly coaching limit: sets the total number of coaching hours all users can use during the month. Coaching uses hours too, usually about 10 minutes per coaching session.
Per-user monthly limits
The user usage limits section controls how much each individual user can use per month.
Call user limit: limits how many analyzed call minutes each user can use per month.
Role play user limit: limits how many role play minutes each user can use per month.
Coaching user limit: limits how many coaching minutes each user can use per month.
Use per-user limits when one person is using much more of an activity than expected, or when you want every user to have a similar monthly allowance.
How the sliders work
Moving a slider all the way up makes that activity unlimited.
Moving a slider all the way down turns that activity off.
Account-wide limits apply to the whole account.
User limits apply to each individual user.
Save your changes
After adjusting the limits, select Save. The updated limits will apply going forward.
When to adjust usage limits
You may want to update usage limits when:
Your team is getting close to the hours included in your plan tier.
Role play usage is higher than expected.
You want to manage how often users run coaching sessions.
You want each user to have a monthly cap for calls, role play, or coaching.
