How to Use the Role Play Team Library

Learn how agents can find saved Team Library calls and use them for Role Play practice in Shilo.

The Role Play Team Library is where your team saves calls you can use for practice.

If you are new to Shilo or do not have your own calls yet, the Team Library can help you practice from real calls your manager or admin has already selected.

What the Team Library is for

The Team Library gives you access to saved calls that can be used for Role Play practice. These calls may help you practice:

  • Discovery conversations

  • Objection handling

  • Pricing conversations

  • Follow-up conversations

  • Difficult customer interactions

  • Closing conversations

  • Common team coaching topics

The goal is to help you practice from real examples instead of starting from a blank scenario.

Find the Team Library

  1. Open Shilo.

  2. Go to Role Play in the left-hand navigation.

  3. Select Team Library.

This is where your team's saved practice calls are stored.

Find a practice call

  1. Open the Team Library.

  2. Select a folder.

  3. Choose the call you want to practice.

Folders may be organized by skill, team, call type, objection, or coaching topic.

Review the call before practicing

Before starting Role Play, review the call context so you understand the scenario.

Depending on what is available, you may be able to review:

  • The call summary

  • Coaching notes

  • The transcript

  • The recording

  • Lead source

  • Call context

  • Feedback from the original call

This helps you understand what happened in the original conversation before you begin practicing.

Start Role Play from a Team Library call

Once you are ready:

  1. Open the saved call from the Team Library.

  2. Select Role Play.

  3. Click Start Role Play.

You can then practice the conversation using the saved call as your scenario.

If the Team Library is empty

If you do not see any folders or saved calls, reach out to your manager or admin.

They may need to add calls to the Team Library before you can practice from it.

If you cannot find a call

If you expected to see a call but cannot find it:

  1. Make sure you are in the correct folder.

  2. Check whether your manager saved it in another folder.

  3. Ask your manager or admin if the call has been added yet.

Tips for using the Team Library

Review the transcript or coaching notes before starting Role Play.
