Appointment recording is in beta. You can capture in-person meetings on your iPhone, or virtual meetings like Zoom and Google Meet on desktop.
When the recording ends, Shilo transcribes the conversation, infers the appointment type, and grades it. You will see coaching, keywords, objections, and outcomes, just like you do on calls.
This works the same for team accounts and solo agents. The only difference is who can see which appointments.
Who can see which appointments
On a team:
Admins and owners see every appointment: today, upcoming, and completed.
Agents who are not admins or owners only see their own.
If you are a solo agent, you see your own appointments. If you also own the account, you have the same view as an admin.
This visibility is the same on the web app and the iOS app.
Find the Appointments tab
Sign in at app.shilo.ai.
Open the Appointments tab.
The tab lists appointments for today, upcoming appointments, and completed appointments.
Once an appointment is completed, Shilo coaches it, grades it, and reads it with a dedicated appointment model. Appointment type is inferred from the conversation, and the outcomes can vary from meeting to meeting.
During beta, the model name may show as customer service. That label is a placeholder. The real appointment model is already running in the background.
Install the iOS app (TestFlight)
The mobile app is iOS only right now, and it is not on the App Store yet. You install it through TestFlight.
On your iPhone, paste the invite link from Shilo into Safari (or another browser).
The link opens TestFlight.
If you do not have TestFlight yet, install it from the App Store first.
Open TestFlight and install Shilo.
Beta access is invite-only. Please email us at [email protected] in order to receive an invite link to TestFlight
When we ship a new build, TestFlight updates the app on your phone automatically.
Record on iPhone
Open the Shilo app and sign in. You will see today's appointments, later upcoming appointments, and completed appointments.
You can record in two ways:
Attach the recording to a calendar appointment
Tap an upcoming appointment.
Review the notes from Follow Up Boss.
Tap Record.
The recording is saved to that appointment.
Record an ad hoc appointment
Tap Record.
Recording starts immediately.
Use this when the meeting is not already on your calendar.
Record on desktop
Use desktop recording for Zoom, Google Meet, recruiting conversations, and other digital meetings.
Open Shilo in your browser.
Click New recording.
IMPORTANT: In the share dialog, choose the tab's audio or your computer's system audio.
Start the meeting and let Shilo record.
Click End recording when you are done.
How you know it is working
As soon as someone starts speaking, you will see the transcript appear. That is your confirmation the recorder is capturing audio. This happens on both iPhone and desktop.
After you stop recording
Phone calls in Shilo usually finish processing in about 30 seconds. Appointments take longer, usually about 2 to 5 minutes. A 45-minute or hour-and-a-half meeting is a different job than a 6-minute call.
While Shilo is still working, the appointment looks grayed out. That means the recording was captured and is still processing. Leave it. When grading is finished, you will get the same coaching view you already know: appointment type, outcomes, keywords, objections, and agent coaching.
